Project Manager (Full-time)

Danielle Colding Design is seeking an Interior Design Project Manager at our NYC office who shares our passion for design and has the entrepreneurial drive to grow within our organization. Applicants should be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starters who are flexible enough to work on and oversee a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

Preparing for and attending client and site meetings

Creating and maintaining budgets and project schedules

Sourcing materials and furniture that are cohesive to the design aesthetic of the project

Coordinating and managing outside vendors for installations

Generating of purchase orders and invoices

Placing and following up on orders

Generating of purchase orders and invoices

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and comfortable learning new programs

Efficiency is a must to meet critical deadlines

Working with the Principal and design team to develop design concepts;

Assisting Principal with selection of furniture, fixtures and finishes;

Managing project installations;

Managing both client and vendor relationships; Overseeing client projects from start to finish and ensuring adherence to deadlines;

Maintaining delivery schedules and troubleshooting when necessary;

Reviewing all client documentation and communication for accuracy and clarity;

Maintaining weekly status reports and updating the Principal and design team

Applicants should have:

5 year experience minimum working in architecture or interior design office

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team, some team members may be remote

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multi-task in a quick-paced environment

Studio Designer software experience

Will have experience managing a project from design development through installation

Will be proactive, extremely organized and detail oriented, and work well in a team setting
